| ROOM40 is a label and multi-arts organisation based in Brisbane, Australia. Since 2000, ROOM40 has released over 50 high quality editions and multiples in the fields of electronics, improvisation, experimental-pop and sound-art. Curated by Lawrence English, the label continues to publish in and around the margins of each of these fields drawing on a diverse roster of both established and emergent sound-makers. | At Room40 we love new and interesting music - creativity is what keeps us inspired! That said in the past few years we have become inundated with demos and proposals. It's finally reached a point where it's nigh on impossible to listen to all the music coming through our door in any kind of reasonable timeline - let alone reply after listening. For this reason we're now really not in a position to accept demos. If you do still want to send us your music of course feel free, but please understand it's not possible for us to get back to you with feedback. For reasons of the environment please DON'T send cdrs - a link (up for at least a while please) to well labelled digital files is possibly the best idea. Believe us, if we like what we hear we will be in touch! |
