| Forming out of the duo pairing of percussionist John Parker and guitarist Jason Elliot, Ubique Trio took shape following the addition of Lawrence English (computer, turntables) to the line up in 2001. Quickly building a reputation for intense freely improvised sets, the trio's performances at festivals such as Pinnacles in Brisbane have taken on a mythic quality. Stories of performances based on drummer John Parker assembling and then disassembling his drum kit, whilst Elliot and English strike out over the chaotic frenzy of the drum kit deconstructionism, aren't uncommon.
This disc comes out of improvised sessions recorded at the Old Museum in Brisbane. Ubique Trio is planning a debut release proper sometime in 2010. In the mean time get hold of their 3" CDr on Meupe.
